Regional Retail Manager (London Region)
At SEPHORA UK, beauty isn’t just what we sell - it’s who we are. It’s the freedom to express yourself, the thrill of discovering something new, and the power of belonging to a community that celebrates every identity. From our beginnings in France in 1969 to becoming part of the LVMH family, we’ve always pushed boundaries through creativity, innovation, and inclusivity.
Today, with nearly 500 iconic brands and our own SEPHORA Collection, we’re redefining the future of prestige beauty as we continue our bold expansion across the UK. If you’re ready to bring passion, energy, and a love for immersive retail experiences to one of the world’s most dynamic beauty markets, this is your moment to shape what comes next.
The Opportunity
As we continue to grow and inspire beauty lovers across the capital, we’re looking for a Regional Retail Manager (London region) to lead the next chapter of our retail journey. This is a uniquely exciting opportunity to shape how our brand, culture and customer experience come to life across one of our most vibrant and influential regions.
Reporting into our Retail Director, you’ll be at the heart of everything we do in store - leading people, performance and standards, while building empowered teams who truly live and breathe the SEPHORA spirit. You’ll work closely with Store Directors and leadership teams to turn strategy into action, elevate customer experience, and maximise sales and KPIs across your area. If you’re a people‑led, customer‑obsessed retail leader who loves being close to the floor, thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is ready to make a visible impact, this is your moment to belong - and to lead - something beautiful.
What you’ll be doing…
You’ll lead the people, standards, customer experience and operational performance of stores within the London region:
- Building and developing SEPHORA’s brand and culture across all stores in your area of accountability.
- Owning the people, standards, customer experience, financial and operational performance of stores within your region.
- Coaching and developing store leaders and teams to translate retail plans into tangible actions that drive agreed targets.
- Building, developing and implementing store and area plans to maximise sales and KPI performance.
- Delivering all sales and KPI targets through performance monitoring, opportunity identification and action planning.
- Ensuring best‑in‑class customer experience is consistently delivered across all stores.
- Providing clear leadership, support and direction aligned with the vision and strategic direction of SEPHORA UK.
- Recruiting, retaining and developing exceptional people, with strong focus on talent identification and succession planning.
- Defining, building and following up on people development plans in partnership with HR, Training and Education.
- Supporting the management of employee relations and performance across assigned stores.
- Creating and maintaining a customer‑obsessed, brand‑focused environment for all frontline teams.
- Supporting the rollout of retail projects and acting as gatekeeper of retail communications and data to stores.
- Demonstrating strong customer and frontline obsession by being present in stores four days a week, leading service culture through observation and feedback.
- Translating area objectives into store sales and KPI targets, monitoring performance and identifying store and leadership improvement opportunities.
- Overseeing retail operations and standards, including back‑of‑house organisation, stock and inventory management, H&S compliance, merchandising, cleanliness, security, and full support of key product launches and initiatives.
What you’ll bring…
You’ll be a bold, people‑led retail leader with the energy, commercial edge and mindset to elevate performance across a fast‑moving environment. You will also bring:
- Proven experience leading fast‑paced, high‑turnover stores (£10M+) with strong commercial results.
- Strong experience in customer experience leadership within retail environments.
- Solid knowledge of sales, service and commercial KPIs, including conversion and average basket.
- Comprehensive beauty industry knowledge, with up‑to‑date awareness of trends and products.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate, influence and build trust with store and head office teams.
- A high‑achievement mindset with the ability to drive change, work autonomously and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- High energy and adaptability, embracing change, leading from the front, and holding a valid driving licence with flexibility to travel across the UK.
