Staff benefit from a welcoming working environment where teamwork, professional development and collaboration are encouraged. The leadership team values the contribution of support staff and is committed to providing ongoing training and opportunities for career development.

The school provides a nurturing learning environment where children feel safe, respected and encouraged to become confident learners.

As SEND Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support that enables the team to deliver effective and well-organised support for children and families.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the SENDCo with day-to-day administration.

  • Maintaining accurate SEND records and pupil files.

  • Coordinating Annual Review meetings and preparing documentation.

  • Liaising with parents, carers and external agencies.

  • Managing confidential reports and professional correspondence.

  • Tracking Education, Health and Care Plan documentation.

  • Supporting referrals and assessment processes.

  • Updating the school's management information system.

  • Preparing reports and documentation for leadership meetings.

  • Scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings.

  • Ensuring statutory deadlines are met.

  • Providing general administrative support to the wider inclusion team.

The successful candidate will join a dedicated team committed to ensuring every child receives the highest standard of support and care.

Requirements

  • Previous administrative experience, ideally within education or SEND.

  • Excellent organisational and planning skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to manage confidential information professionally.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
