The Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery & Palliative Care (NMPC) is based in the heart of central and south London. It includes the Cicely Saunders Institute for Palliative Care, Policy & Rehabilitation , the premier Institute for Palliative Care, bringing together clinical, research and education teams.
Our applied clinical and health multidisciplinary research transforms therapies, the healthcareexperienceand outcomes for patients and those important to them, wherever they are cared for. Our award-winning NMPC education programmes span pre-registration nursing and midwifery, and multidisciplinary post-graduate taught and research programmes.

About The Role
The Strategic Projects Manager (Education) position is an exciting role within the Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery and Palliative Care (NMPC), Kings College London. The postholder will be responsible for the management, implementation and delivery of strategic and process improvement projects in support of our Education strategy, with a focus on our undergraduate/postgraduate pre-registration nursing and midwifery students, alongside our postgraduate post-qualification education.
This post would suit somebody who has experience of managing strategic projects within Higher Education and / or has experience of managing education focused projects in a programme or project management capacity. The postholder will have a strong commitment to excellence in working with a diverse student population, excellent communication skills, will be a good listener who works well with people from different disciplines, and someone with a passion for bringing people together to create positive change. Working at a fast pace, you will have the ability to work independently with effective oversight and prioritisation and have excellent attention to detail. This role suits a self-starter who can take ownership of project delivery and has the ability to see the “bigger picture” and how the various projects will interconnect and influence each other to achieve the Facultys aim of supporting every students success.
This role sits within the Nightingale Student HUB providing strategic support to the Facultys leadership and will report to the Associate Director of Education, working closely with the Vice Dean (Education). This is a full time (35 hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract.

Location: Hybrid minimum of 2 days per week on Campus (Waterloo).
