What skills and experience we're looking for

Churchfields Junior School are seeking to appoint a Year 4 Class Teacher from September 2026.

We are a warm, welcoming and ambitious school where children love learning and staff are supported to continually improve their practice. Our pupils are a joy to teach and our parents and colleagues work closely together to create a positive, respectful community.

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Has secure subject knowledge or a strong desire to develop it further
• Is reflective, open to feedback and committed to improving their practice
• Communicates well and builds positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families
• Is enthusiastic, warm and professional, with a genuine commitment to helping every child succeed
• Believes that high standards are important and is motivated to grow into an excellent classroom practitioner

This post would suit an Early Career Teacher or a more experienced teacher seeking a supportive school where professional growth is prioritised.
