Indirect Tax Associate Director

As an Associate Director in the Financial Services team, you'll deliver high-quality technical advice to a wide range of clients, focusing on business development and team management. You'll shape and deliver the national sector strategy for Forvis Mazars' Financial Services VAT offering, and develop market intelligence to prepare for new client opportunities.

The Work

• Deliver high-quality technical advice to a diverse range of financial services and insurance clients.
• Lead business development and team management to deliver assignments.
• Shape and deliver the national sector strategy for Forvis Mazars' Financial Services VAT offering.
• Develop market intelligence and sector knowledge for new client opportunities and pitches.
• Take the lead on proposal documents and help to convert new opportunities.
• Build an external network, developing strong relationships with clients and key market constituents.

What You Need

• Significant experience in the financial services, insurance, and/or asset management sector.
• Excellent client relationship building skills, combining commitment to first-rate client service with curiosity to understand the client's business strategy and assets.
• Execution capacity, technical excellence, BD focus, and strategy to implement existing business and drive new business.
• CTA qualified (or equivalent).

Desirable

• Demonstrable project management skills and ability to work toward demanding timetables.
• Track record of building enduring relationships with clients through repeat work.
