Computer Vision Lead
Help us build the future of real-time retail execution
At Neurolabs, we’re helping the world’s leading CPG brands unlock real-time visibility in retail. Our Image Recognition technology is powered by synthetic data and digital twins, giving customers scalable, accurate insights - fast. No manual audits. No delays. No retraining. Just immediate visibility into what’s actually happening in-store.
We’ve built our platform to solve real field problems. From faster SKU onboarding to better promo execution, we work across teams to connect strategy with shelf reality. With easy integration and the fastest time to value in the category, we’re not just digitising audits - we’re powering smarter, data-backed execution for global CPGs.
We’re looking for a Computer Vision Lead to guide our ML team and shape how we build and deliver state-of-the-art visual AI at scale. You’ll lead a small, talented team working on complex models, smart pipelines and a growing LVM foundation. Your focus will be on clarity, prioritisation, and people — driving sprint rhythms that help the team move fast and stay engaged.
This is a high-trust, high-impact role, perfect for someone ready to scale their leadership journey and make a meaningful difference.
✨ Why this role matters
In-store execution is broken - slow, manual, outdated. We're fixing that.
At the core of our platform is a Computer Vision engine powered by synthetic data, large vision models and smart pipelines. We're moving fast, solving hard problems and scaling globally. You’ll be central to how we grow and evolve this function.
Your mission: build the rhythm that helps the team deliver their best work.
💡 Our values & how we work
We’re a tight-knit team who:
- Move fast and learn continuously – We iterate quickly and hold a high bar for quality.
- Focus on outcomes – We care about real-world results for our customers and we do this by owning the initiative, staying open and honest.
- Play to win – We’re building something meaningful with our customers and we want to be the best at it.
🧠 What you'll do
Lead and support a world-class ML team
- Coach and grow a talented group of ML engineers building our CV models and infrastructure.
- Champion the team’s needs, unblock priorities, and maintain a healthy, high-performing environment.
- Drive sprint planning, goal-setting and team rhythms that keep delivery focused and engagement high.
Drive and evolve our Computer Vision strategy
- Own and evolve the technical roadmap for our CV models and systems – balancing short-term delivery with long-term scalability.
- Prioritise across multiple projects, making clear, thoughtful trade-offs that support product and commercial goals.
- Support the AI team to deliver impactful work at a consistent, sustainable pace.
Work in partnership with our Staff ML Engineer
- Collaborate closely with our Staff-level individual contributor to align on technical direction, context sharing and execution.
- While you lead the team, set priorities and drive delivery rhythms, they’ll focus on deep technical execution – together, you’ll shape how the ML function operates and scales.
Stay technically involved
- Contribute to model development, optimisation and architecture – particularly in areas like large vision models and multimodal approaches.
- Guide architectural decisions, model refinement and experimentation in collaboration with the team.
Connect across the business
- Partner with Product, Infrastructure and Customer teams to turn commercial needs into scalable, performant AI systems.
- Keep communication clear and feedback loops tight across teams and stakeholders.
Grow as a people-first leader
- Whether you’ve led teams before or are stepping into leadership for the first time, we’ll support you to develop your approach.
- You’ll model our values – focusing on outcomes, communicating clearly, and helping the team stay fast, curious and purposeful.

- Expertise in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow .
- Familiarity with large vision models and multimodal architectures (e.g. combining vision and text).
- Experience working with cloud infrastructure ( e.g. AWS or GCP ), and model deployment in real-world, data-constrained environments.
- Understanding of MLOps tools and practices , including model versioning, training pipelines and monitoring.
How you work
- You have a people-first mentality. You create clarity, build trust and support your team to do their best work.
- You set expectations thoughtfully, give clear and timely feedback and know how to unblock or redirect when needed.
- You take ownership of delivery and help the team stay focused through strong prioritisation and consistent rhythms.
