Home Office SC cleared Business Transformation Consultant (IT)
A Home Office cleared Business Transformation Consultant is required for an initial 1 month contract which is highly likely to extend. The role is mainly remote with occasional on site in London and is inside IR35 so will require working via an FCSA accredited umbrella company. Required skills: Hybrid Business Analyst, Process Consultant, Business Change/Architect role.
- Requires 10 years plus experience in the work place, several years in process design.
- Responsiblities include: Conduct workshops, interviews, and observations to understand as-is processes and ways of working.
- Ability to apply the RAPID framework to a current process and identify optimisations. Create clear and accurate process maps, flowcharts, and diagrams (Visio) to document current and future state workflows.
- Ability also to lay out concepts in MS Power Point to facilitate/aid discussion around difficult to grasp topics.
- Liaise with stakeholders to understand needs, clarify requirements, and ensure consensus on process improvements. Translate stakeholder feedback into actionable insights for process optimisation.
- Ability to identify areas of ambiguity and proactive in finding ways to clarify and resolve. Strong communications skills - comfortable leading meetings at director / board level.
- Experienced in understanding and delivering business change.
- Excellent written skills.
- Collaborate with project team to support the implementation of documented processes.
- Familiarity with RAPID methodology (Desirable).
- Working closely with business change manager to provide input to drafting communications, training materials, communications.
- Self-starter as well as team player. Having a customer first mindset - ensuring customers are at the heart of everything we do.
- Proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio);
- Ability to categorise information into levels of detail for the processes of process decomposition.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to simplify complex processes.
- Experienced in Agile methodologies, JIRA, Monday, MURAL, Design Thinking. Excellent MS Power Point skills.
