School Administrator - Southwark
We are seeking an organised, proactive, and professional School Administrator to join a busy and friendly primary school in Southwark, starting as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in an educational environment and supporting the smooth running of school operations.

Staff work collaboratively to ensure that the school office and administrative functions run efficiently, supporting teaching staff, pupils, and parents. As a School Administrator, you will be responsible for day-to-day office management and administrative tasks, acting as the first point of contact for parents, carers, staff, and visitors. You will play a key role in maintaining school records, supporting staff, and ensuring smooth communication across the school.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for parents, carers, staff, and visitors
Answer and manage telephone calls, emails, and correspondence efficiently
Maintain accurate pupil records, including attendance and personal information
Support the school’s admissions and enrolment processes
Assist with school reporting, data entry, and document management
Provide administrative support to teaching and leadership staff
Help organise school events, meetings, and communications
Maintain office supplies and ensure the smooth operation of office systems
Ensure confidentiality, data protection, and safeguarding procedures are followed at all times
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will:
Have experience in school or office administration
Be highly organised, proactive, and able to prioritise tasks effectively
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Be confident using Microsoft Office and school management systems
Be professional, approachable, and adaptable
Show a strong commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
Be able to work independently and as part of a team
