Accounts Receivable Team Leader

What you’ll be doing (in a nutshell):
Day-to-day you can expect to:
- Lead, motivate and develop the AR team to achieve targets and maintain high engagement
- Oversee daily AR operations and queries, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Monitor aged debt reports, identify risks and implement proactive collection strategies
- Manage key customer relationships, particularly within the public sector
- Act as an escalation point for complex or high-value queries
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Sales and Customer Success to streamline processes
- Provide regular reporting and insights on AR performance, trends and opportunities
- Contribute to cashflow forecasting and complete key balance sheet reconciliations
- Drive continuous improvement across AR processes to boost efficiency and accuracy
To be successful, you'll have:
- Proven experience leading or supervising an Accounts Receivable team
- A strong track record working with public sector customers and their billing requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with a focus on motivation and accountability
- Strong analytical and organisational skills, with confidence managing multiple priorities
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort with data-driven decision making
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt to change
Bonus points if you bring:
- Experience using NetSuite
- A background in SaaS or subscription-based business models
- A history of implementing process improvements in finance operations
- Knowledge of financial compliance or audit requirements

The Interview Process
Our interview process involves 4 main stages:
- Application
- Short call with a member of the TA team
- 30-minute video call with Hiring Manager and one other team member
- Final Interview and task with two members of the team
