Functional Consultant - Coupa

Job Description

Contract: Initial contract until April
Commitment: 30 hours/4 days per week
Location: Remote
Rate: up to $700 per day

We are looking for an experienced Coupa Functional Architect/Functional Consultant to support the delivery of a major Coupa implementation.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role requiring someone who can lead functional design workshops, translate business requirements into effective Coupa solutions, configure the platform and support the implementation through testing and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead client-facing Coupa design and requirements workshops
• Design and configure Coupa in line with business requirements and best practice
• Perform requirements gathering and Fit/Gap analysis
• Own functional configuration and associated documentation
• Walk stakeholders through proposed designs and configurations
• Support and lead testing activities and workshops
• Assist with user training and implementation readiness
• Support deployment and cutover activities

Essential Experience

• Strong hands-on Coupa implementation experience
• Strong experience across Coupa Procurement and Invoicing/Payables
• Experience personally configuring Coupa, rather than solely managing implementations
• Experience leading functional design and client workshops
• Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes
• Experience delivering implementations across the life cycle from design and configuration through testing and deployment
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Highly Desirable

• Coupa Supplier Information Management (SIM)
• Broader multi-module Coupa implementation experience
• Experience across multiple clients or industry sectors
• Rossum experience
• Coupa Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM)
