Senior Outreach Worker

Single Homeless Project have a new opportunity for a Senior Outreach Worker to join our team. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £31,101.42 and rising incrementally to £34,059.72 per annum.

About you:

Experienced in working with people who are rough sleeping or at risk of street homelessness.


Confident leading shifts and mentoring others.


Knowledgeable about homelessness pathways, safeguarding, and systemic challenges.


Skilled in partnership working, ideally with statutory and voluntary sector agencies.


Calm under pressure, with strong problem-solving skills.


Passionate about social justice and committed to SHP’s values of hope, inclusion, and transformation.

Our attractive benefits package includes:

A salary increase after successfully completing six month's probationary period


A 37.5 hour working week including flexible working hours (core hours are 10am – 4pm) in non-accommodation services


25 days annual leave, increasing annually to the maximum 30 days (plus paid Bank Holidays),


A contributory pension scheme: Single Homeless Project will contribute the equivalent of 5% of your annual salary
