The Consultant Cardiac Surgeon will provide expert surgical care for patients with complex cardiac conditions within the government healthcare system. This role requires a commitment to high-quality patient care, adherence to institutional protocols, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to improve cardiovascular health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations and diagnoses of patients with cardiac disorders.
• Perform a range of cardiac surgeries, including coronary artery bypass grafting, valve repair and replacement, and other specialized procedures.
• Manage pre-operative and post-operative care to optimize patient recovery.
• Work closely with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and nursing teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in hospital committees, training programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with government healthcare policies and quality standards.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Proficient in contemporary cardiac surgical techniques and patient management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of working within multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to adhere to government healthcare regulations and protocols.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and continuous professional development.
• Experience in teaching and mentoring medical staff is advantageous.
