Role: Pharmacist Haematology and Oncology
Banding: Band 8a
Location: London
Duration: 6 months
Hours: Full-time
Rate: £34 – £39 per hour
We are seeking two highly skilled and experienced Senior Specialist Pharmacists to join our Haematology, Oncology, and Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a dynamic and supportive environment, providing expert pharmaceutical care to patients with complex needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide specialist pharmaceutical care to haematology, oncology, and BMT patients. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Participate in clinical audits and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines. Educate and train pharmacy staff and other healthcare professionals. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Essential:
- Up to date GPhC registration.
- Relevant Pharmacy qualification.
- Hospital experience as a pharmacist.
- Must hold a BOPA SACT passport.
- Proven experience in haematology and oncology pharmacy.
- Desirable:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
