Purpose of the job

We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer to join our insurance team and support the design, development, and maintenance of SQL Server databases. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in writing and optimizing stored procedures, views, and handling data migration tasks. A solid understanding of relational database schemas is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server stored procedures, views, and functions.
  • Perform data migration tasks across environments and systems.
  • Analyze and optimize existing SQL queries for performance improvements.
  • Collaborate with engineering and business teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems.
  • Document database structures, processes, and procedures.
  • Support troubleshooting and debugging of database-related issues.

Knowledge, skills and experience required

Key Responsibities:

  • Proven experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Strong proficiency in writing stored procedures, views, and complex SQL queries.
  • Experience with data migration and transformation processes.
  • Solid understanding of relational database design and normalization principles.
  • Familiarity with performance tuning and query optimization techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
