User Researcher

We are looking for a User Researcher to support us in one of our projects working with a public sector client. Design, scope and run research sessions using both quantitative and qualitative methods with clear research plans to identify and define the discussion points for both the high-level and deep-dive stakeholder sessions.

Essential skills/experience:

• Provide a feasibility-assessed recommendation by the working group on the future vision for the waste reforms.
• Independently facilitate a mixed group of stakeholders, including senior industry representatives, waste management officials to pull out over the course of the sprint stakeholder views and ambitions for the waste reforms, identify and test assumptions around delivery and intents, identify design principles, explore opportunity areas and constraints.
• Organise and manage delivery of the sprint as a mini project,
• Developing and working to plans within the timescales agreed to industry, organising and chairing engagement points reflective and targeted to stakeholder needs and expectations, tracking and escalating any risks and issues in preparing for sprint sessions with stakeholders and/ or providing core outputs ahead of the sessions.
• Mapping journeys and identifying relevant pain points to resolve Research
  Design, scope and run research sessions using both quantitative and qualitative methods with clear research plans to identify and define the discussion points for both the high-level and deep-dive stakeholder sessions
• Using research tools across both methods to design approaches for capturing stakeholder feedback sensitively and aligned to strategic need, capture personas and user archetypes, and create outputs designed to frame stakeholder insights and conclusions in an a way that can be understood by a range of stakeholders, and develop used across both the vision recommendation piece as well as other workpieces on stakeholder views, process challenges, and feasibility assessments across the programme.
