As part of the continued expansion of our Enterprise Projects function, we are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to play a key role in driving strategic transformation across Royal London Asset Management (RLAM). Focused on supporting our Operations, Regulation and Rest of the World pillar, you will oversee a diverse variety of complex change initiatives that underpin RLAM’s long term growth ambitions and evolving operating model.
This role requires a versatile allrounder who can shape, steer, and deliver multi-year programmes that improve how we run, scale, and futureproof the business. The ideal candidate will have driven complex projects stemming from post-merger integration and organisational restructuring and will have experience of delivering operational efficiencies and making changes to third party vendors, including transfer agencies. Experience with regulatory compliance would also be advantageous.
As Programme Manager, you will provide expert management across a number of concurrent complex change initiatives. You will be instrumental in delivering business outcomes on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards whilst maintaining robust governance and control.
About the role
- Lead the successful delivery of key programmes within the RLAM change portfolio, ensuring outcomes are achieved within agreed cost, quality, and time parameters.
- Ensure all project delivery aligns with the RLAM Business Plan and supports long-term growth through a multi-year portfolio lens.
- Build and lead high-performing teams of resource to deliver complex change initiatives.
- Proactively identify and engage stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment and support throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Operate in line with RLAM’s change methodology, ensuring consistency and best practice across all initiatives.
About you
Essential
- Proven track record of delivering major transformation programmes within Financial Services, ideally in Asset Management.
- Experience of operating model and service transitions, ideally involving transfer agency and vendor-related change.
- Demonstrated success in managing multiple workstreams and interdependencies.
- Confident and credible when engaging with senior stakeholders, with strong influencing and relationship-building skills.
- Adaptable and resilient, able to flex your approach to suit different situations and challenges.
- Persistent and positive, with a strong drive to deliver results.
Desirable
- Managing change projects specifically in Asset Management Operations, Data and Technology.
- Experience collaborating with a parent or insurance group is highly desirable.
