A highly acquisitive financial services business will be hiring an Indirect Tax Manager to add to their tax team. Reporting directly to the Head of Indirect Tax, the successful candidate will collaborate within a large, but close-knit team while enjoying a primarily remote working arrangement.

This position is purposed to ensure that the group adheres to indirect tax compliance obligations and ensure tax efficiency in transactions and structuring. While the compliance is currently completed in-house, the Indirect Tax Manager's involvement will be review/oversight-focused in this regard.

The successful candidate will advise on indirect taxes for a range of projects and transactions, working with and offering guidance to wider stakeholders in finance, commercial, operational and legal teams.

We anticipate this opportunity will suit the indirect tax professional who has experience operating at VAT Manager level, likely having trained in the Big 4/Top 10 with some prior in-house/secondee experience.

The successful candidate

• ACA/CTA qualification
• Experienced and technically confident in VAT compliance and advisory matters
• Experienced in working with partially exempt businesses (financial services experience preferred)
• Additional experience with international matters/transfer pricing considered advantageous
• The right to work permanently within the UK is required for this position
