SEN Teaching Assistant
About the Role We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant primary school in Colindale, Barnet. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide 1:1 support for a Year 2 pupil with complex needs who is preverbal, helping them access learning, build independence, and thrive in a supportive environment. Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO, you will also contribute to the wider classroom setting, ensuring all pupils benefit from an inclusive, high-quality education. The ideal candidate will: • Have previous experience supporting children with SEN and complex needs (preferred but not essential). • Be strong, personable, and patient, with the resilience to manage challenges positively. • Communicate clearly and effectively with pupils, staff, and families. • Be committed to making a real difference in a child’s educational journey.
