Clinical Administrator
- Greet and direct patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Manage patient registration processes and maintain accurate records.
- Book, amend, and manage patient appointments, including coordinating clinics as required.
- Act as a central point of contact for patients, handling enquiries via telephone, email, and in person.
- Process and manage clinical correspondence, including reports, referrals, and results.
- Handle child health recalls and liaise with patients, clinicians, and external services.
- Triage patient queries and ensure appropriate distribution to the clinical team.
- Support clinicians with a variety of administrative tasks to enable smooth and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and ensure data quality and integrity at all times.
- Liaise effectively with internal team members and external partners (including secondary care and community services).
- Provide cover for reception and administrative colleagues during periods of absence (sickness/annual leave).
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment by supporting the wider admin team as required.
Job responsibilities The Clinical Administrator plays a vital role in supporting high-quality patient care through the delivery of efficient, accurate, and professional administrative services to the practice team. As part of the reception and administration team, you will provide a friendly and effective first point of contact for patients and visitors, while also supporting clinicians and the wider multidisciplinary team with a range of administrative tasks. This is a dynamic role that requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication with both patients and colleagues. - Knowledge of clinical systems including EMIS and Accurx
- GCSE Maths C or above
- GCSE English C or above

- Working within a GP Practice.
