WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As a Mid-Level Prototyper within our Prototyping and Innovation team, you will develop innovative prototypes and contribute to technical solutions across our product suite. You'll work independently on complex technical challenges while collaborating with both senior and junior team members. This role offers opportunities to grow your technical leadership skills while maintaining hands-on development work.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Technical Development: Design and implement prototypes across various technologies, including web applications, data pipelines, and machine learning models. Take ownership of medium to complex technical challenges and deliver solutions independently.
• Technical Growth: Continuously expand expertise in relevant technologies and frameworks. Share knowledge with junior team members while learning from senior prototypers . Begin taking on technical leadership responsibilities for smaller projects.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance to junior prototypers on technical implementation and best practices. Support senior prototypers in code reviews and technical documentation.
• Collaboration: Work effectively across the prototyping cell, coordinating with both junior and senior prototypers , as well as research and design teams. Translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem Solving: Independently solve technical challenges and propose creative solutions. Identify potential roadblocks and communicate them proactively to senior team members.
• Process Implementation: Apply and reinforce core prototyping principles, balancing speed and quality. Contribute to process improvements and help establish best practices.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• 3-4 years of experience in software development, data science, or a related field
• Demonstrated experience in prototype development and deployment
• Strong Python programming skills with experience in cloud platforms
• Background in Data Science, Engineering, or Analytics
• Proficiency with multiple technical areas: plotting libraries, front-end frameworks, databases, LLMs, or APIs
• Experience contributing to technical documentation and code reviews
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance
• Proven track record of mentoring junior developers is a plus
