Geography Teacher

An enthusiastic and committed Geography Teacher is required to join the successful Humanities department of an Outstanding girls' school in Islington, commencing in September. Responsibilities

• You will deliver engaging and effective Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a passion for the subject and developing students' understanding of the world and its people.
• The role involves cultivating students' critical thinking skills and their ability to analyse complex geographical issues.
• You will create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment where students feel empowered to explore different perspectives and develop their understanding of global challenges.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Geography is essential.
• Experience teaching engaging and effective Geography lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly desirable.
• A deep and current understanding of geographical concepts and contemporary global challenges is expected.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, alongside strong classroom management, are vital.
