Nanny in Clapham, 20hrs/week, Job ID J22749
A lovely family based in Clapham, South West London, is looking for an experienced, proactive Part-Time Live-Out Nanny to care for their toddler and a new baby due in April 2027. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of professional childcare experience, a nurturing approach to toddler development, and comfortable around pet. Note that the household manages specific allergies.
A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position.
Working hours: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 15:15 to 19:15, plus a full day (8 to 10 hours) on Wednesday. (Note: If the family places the child into nursery on Wednesdays, a guaranteed 20 hours per week will still be offered through evening babysitting or ad-hoc weekend hours), total of 20 hours per week.
Duties include:
- ensuring the safety, well-being, and developmental progress of the child, including establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines
- picking up the child from nursery and engaging them in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor park outings
- preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the child
- performing light, child-related housekeeping duties
- feeding and providing fresh water for the family's small Cavapoo dog when required
- remaining flexible to potentially travel with the family in the future
