About the Role – Graduate Teaching Assistant
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant , you’ll support teachers and students across a range of subjects and year groups. You will assist in delivering engaging lessons, provide 1:1 and small group support, and contribute to maintaining a focused and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities – Graduate Teaching Assistant
- Support the teaching and learning process across Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Deliver one-to-one or small group interventions to students who need additional support.
- Assist teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and the creation of classroom resources.
- Provide tailored in-class support for students with SEND, EAL, or other additional needs.
- Help maintain high standards of behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.

Candidate Profile – Graduate Teaching Assistant
We’re looking for a Graduate Teaching Assistant who is:
- A recent university graduate (minimum 2:1 degree in Core subject).
- Passionate about education and making a meaningful difference.
- A confident communicator with a proactive and supportive approach.
- Ideally experienced in tutoring, mentoring, or working with young people.
- Committed to a full-time role for the entire 2025/26 academic year.
