- Duration: 5th June - early October (approx. 17 weeks)
- Schedule: 7:00am–7:00pm, 6 days per week
- Salary: £350–£400 per day (self-employed)
A family based in Lancaster Gate is seeking an experienced temporary daily nanny to support them over the summer months, caring for their baby, 6 months. This is a lovely short-term role suited to a confident, knowledgeable nanny with strong baby experience, particularly in weaning and early developmental stages. The family is relaxed and well-supported, with a driver and housekeeper already in place, and a night nurse covering overnight care.
There is potential for the role to extend or evolve in the future, possibly including an overseas position, depending on circumstances.
Job Details:
- Sole focus on the baby (no care for older children).
- Working alongside hands-on but easy-going parents.
- No night duties required.
- Occasional travel to Europe (including Switzerland, Austria, and Portugal, where the family has homes).
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive, nurturing care for the baby.
- Support weaning and feeding routines.
- Plan age-appropriate developmental activities.
- Maintain baby’s routine and wellbeing.
- Keep nursery areas organised and tidy.
- Travel with the family when required.
Ideal Candidate:
- Highly experienced with babies (weaning stage essential).
- Calm, organised, and confident working in a staffed household.
- Flexible and happy to travel.
- Based in London and available for a temporary, summer to autumn role.
- A more mature, professional approach would suit this position.
