We currently have an opportunity for a Credit Analyst to join the Leveraged Finance Research team on a permanent basis in London.
As Credit Analyst, you will undertake analytical responsibilities and make recommendations in the primary and secondary markets to the Leveraged Finance team. Your research will span leveraged loans and high yield bonds.
This is an exciting time to join the Royal London Asset Management (RLAM) Leveraged Finance team which is establishing CLO platform.
About the role
- Provide high quality credit analysis, timely recommendations and informed credit comment to the Leveraged Finance team.
- Engagement in the development of RLAM’s credit research process.
- Continuous improvement regarding understanding of relative value, bond documentation and more generally leveraged loans and high yield market drivers.
- Assist in the provision and presentation of marketing materials.
About you
- Demonstrable relevant credit analysis experience (or equivalent) and knowledge of leveraged finance markets.
- Knowledge of at least one specific sector of the leveraged finance market.
- Previous experience at a CLO manager a plus.
- Qualification demonstrating competence - as required in accordance with RLAM Training & Competence Scheme.
- Good knowledge of data systems (Bloomberg, Aladdin).
- Good communication skills (written and verbal).
- Good planning and self-management.
- Team working.
- Good problem solving and decision making.
