Minibus Driver

Hours of Work: 07.00-08.30 and 16.15-18.00 Monday to Friday

Part time, Term-time only

Reporting To: Director of Operations

Are you an experienced, reliable and safety-conscious driver? The Study Prep (London, SW19) is looking for a dedicated Minibus Driver to join our friendly school community.

As a Minibus Driver, you'll play an important role in the daily school experience of our pupils, safely transporting children to and from school on our morning and afternoon routes. You'll be a familiar and trusted face to our pupils and will help ensure their journeys are safe, welcoming and enjoyable.

Your role will include:

• Safely driving the school minibus on designated morning and afternoon routes

• Collecting and dropping off pupils at various agreed pick-up points

• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of pupils throughout their journey

• Carrying out appropriate vehicle checks and reporting any concerns

• Maintaining a professional and friendly relationship with pupils, parents and colleagues

We're looking for someone who:

• Has a current driving licence with a least Category D1 entitlement

• Has previous experience driving a minibus or similar passenger vehicle

• Is a safe, responsible and confident driver

• Is reliable, punctual and professional

• Has a calm, friendly and approachable manner when working with children

• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

• The successful candidate will be required to pass a MIDAS test prior to appointment.
