An exceptional Independent School in Wandsworth is recruiting for a talented Year 2 Teacher to start in January 2026 . This prestigious Independent School has an outstanding record of academic success combined with a nurturing ethos that develops curiosity and creativity in every pupil. The successful Year 2 Teacher will commence teaching from January 2026 and contribute fully to the dynamic, forward-thinking ethos of the Independent School.

As the Year 2 Teacher , you will deliver a creative, enquiry-led curriculum that supports high achievement across all core areas. The Year 2 Teacher will teach bright, inquisitive pupils who thrive on challenge and independent thought. Lessons will blend traditional rigour with modern pedagogy, ensuring that every child leaves Year 2 as a confident and capable learner.
The Year 2 Teacher will work closely with parallel class teachers and teaching assistants, sharing ideas and best practice. You will also liaise with parents through regular communication and termly progress reviews. From January 2026 , you will be responsible for assessment, pupil reports, and contributing to the holistic development of each child.
This Full-Time Year 2 Teacher role within an Independent School is ideally suited to an educator who can bring enthusiasm, intellectual curiosity, and a genuine love of teaching.
