⭐ A Strategic Senior Leadership Opportunity
A high-performing secondary school in Hackney is seeking an experienced School Business Manager to lead its finance, HR, premises and wider business operations.
This is a senior role working closely with the Headteacher, Governors and SLT, with genuine responsibility for the effective running and future development of the school.
Your Responsibilities
Strategic financial planning and budget management
Monthly management accounts and forecasting
Procurement and contract management
HR, payroll and staff administration
Premises, estates and facilities management
Health & safety, risk and compliance
Managing support and administrative teams
Supporting governors and finance committees
Overseeing audits and statutory requirements
Identifying opportunities to improve value for money
About You
You should have significant school business management or senior education finance experience , alongside strong commercial awareness and excellent leadership skills.
The successful candidate will be analytical, confident and comfortable advising senior leaders on financial and operational decisions.
