A lovely family based in Islington is seeking a warm, energetic, and highly organised After-school Nanny to care for their two children. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for children, great energy, and the flexibility to support the family’s weekly routine. Responsibilities include all general nanny duties such as school pick-ups and drop-offs, preparing meals and snacks, engaging the children in educational and recreational activities, and supporting homework and daily routines. The family is looking for someone dependable, proactive, and child-focused who can integrate seamlessly into their household and provide a nurturing, structured, and fun environment. Strong common sense, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with ease are essential. A valid first-aid qualification is required for this position.
Working hours: Monday: 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm Tuesday & Wednesday: 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm Thursday: 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm One weekend evening: 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm/11:00 pm
Duties include:
- School pick-ups and taking the children to after-school activities, playdates, and appointments
- Bathing and supporting good hygiene routines
- Engaging the children in play, learning activities, and outdoor outings (e.g., park visits)
- Bedtime routine
- Helping with homework and supporting educational development
- Keeping children’s bedrooms and play areas tidy and organised
- Managing children’s laundry and wardrobe organisation
- Light meal preparation as most food is pre-prepared weekly
