Design Studio Assistant
Ingrid Kraftchenko agrees to:
1. Provide the Student Intern with meaningful design-related work, relevant to their academic studies.
2. Offer adequate supervision, guidance, and support throughout the placement.
3. Ensure the Student Design Intern has access to any required resources, tools, and equipment.
4. Offer feedback on the Student Design Intern’s performance and complete any necessary assessments requested by the University.
5. Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations.
6. Inform the University immediately in case of any issues concerning the Design Student Intern’s performance, attendance, or conduct. Part time Design Studio internship to commence in April, 2026 in Shoreditch, London. The internship will offer the student experience and knowledge in an exciting fashion studio in East London. The Student Intern agrees to:
1. Adhere Ingrid Kraftchenko 's policies, including those related to health, safety, and conduct.
2. Complete the tasks and responsibilities assigned by Ingrid Kraftchenko to the best of their ability.
3. Maintain professional standards of behaviour, punctuality, and communication throughout the placement.
4. Take an active role in learning and applying new skills relevant to the fashion design industry.
5. Report any concerns or issues promptly to Ingrid Kraftchenko supervisor and, if necessary, to the University.
4. Placement Objectives
The specific learning objectives and outcomes for the Student Intern during this placement include:
- Gaining hands-on experience in design development, garment construction, and fashion industry practices.
- Understanding the design process from concept to final product.
- Learning about brand identity, customer profiles, and industry trends.
- Developing communication and collaboration skills within a professional environment.
