Senior Data Analyst - Analytics Engineer (IT)

I am looking for a highly analytical and commercially minded Senior Data Analyst / Analytics Engineer to lead the development of impactful dashboards, scalable data models, and automated reporting solutions. Key Responsibilities Dashboards & Visualisation: Design and deliver high-quality dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Excel, and related technologies. Stakeholder Partnership: Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective analytics solutions. Data Modelling: Build and maintain robust data models, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and adherence to governance standards. Automation: Drive reporting automation and the continuous improvement of analytics frameworks. Strategic Impact: Present insights, trends, and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional teams. Best Practices: Champion best practices across data modelling, visualisation, and reporting standards. Essential Skills Experience: 5+ years in Data Analytics, Analytics Engineering, Business Intelligence, Business Analysis, or related disciplines. Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Power BI and SQL. Core Competencies: Extensive experience in data modelling, data transformation, and dashboard development. Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to manage stakeholders and gather requirements effectively. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and data storytelling skills. Desirable Extras: Experience with Power Automate, Azure, Tableau, or Python. Power BI and/or Azure certifications are highly desirable. Candidate profile: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in data analytics, PowerBI engineering, analytics engineering, or closely related disciplines. Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Excel, SQL, Tableau, and/or Power Automate, with a strong track record of delivering comprehensive dashboards. Extensive experience in requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and translating business questions into analytical solutions. Strong background in data cleaning, transformation, modelling, and preparing datasets for scalable analytics. Excellent communication and presentation skills, for both technical and non?technical audiences. Demonstrated ability to create creative, user?centric, visually compelling dashboards and data products. Power BI and/or Azure certification strongly preferred.
