Delivery Project Manager

Blank Street
London

About Blank Street

At Blank Street, we’re on a mission to become the defining food and beverage brand of our generation. From the very beginning, we’ve set out to add a spark to ordinary experiences through elevated products, attention-to-detail, and a commitment to making every moment memorable. We’re motivated by the millions of customers we serve across cities, and know that our potential is unlimited. It all starts with our people and their commitment to make magic happen each and every day.

Start Something Extraordinary…

We’re looking for a Delivery Project Manager who is excited to shape the future of Blank Street, one beautifully built store at a time. If you love transforming spaces, thrive in fast-paced environments, and want your work to have a direct impact on a rapidly growing brand, this role is for you. You’ll lead projects end-to-end, from site assessments and project planning to construction oversight and completion - delivering both new stores and refurbishments to a high standard and ensuring each site is ready for opening day. This role is based in London with regular travel across the UK as we continue to expand our footprint.

What You’ll Own

Lead feasibility and project planning

  • Carry out technical site appraisals, identifying planning considerations and regulatory constraints
  • Produce cost estimates, support capital expenditure growth planning, and manage budgets throughout each project
  • Manage project schedules, coordinating all stakeholders to drive projects to completion within budget and on time

Coordinate design and regulatory compliance

  • Partner with the Design team to ensure construction drawings are accurate, coordinated, and aligned with brand standards
  • Verify that designs meet building regulations and planning requirements across jurisdictions, and navigate local permitting processes
  • Support the Real Estate team with the licence to alter process

Oversee construction and deliver flawless execution

  • Run the tender process, review bids, and appoint contractors
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and uphold safety and workmanship standards
  • Manage relationships with designers, contractors, architects, engineers, and other vendors across multiple markets
  • Undertake snagging and handover to the operational team to ensure readiness for opening

Drive operational excellence

  • Maintain organised project documentation, provide regular reporting to the Department Director and Senior Leadership Team, and track key metrics across the estate
  • Refine construction processes, vendor management, and project systems to improve efficiency and consistency as we scale
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Real Estate, Operations, Design and Facilities to support project delivery and long-term asset performance, capturing lessons learned and feeding them into standards and future designs

Who We’re Looking For

  • 3–5 years’ experience managing commercial construction projects, ideally in F&B, retail, or hospitality; shop-fitout experience is essential
  • Strong understanding of building regulations, permitting, and planning requirements
  • Proven ability to lead multiple projects while meeting targets for quality, budget, and schedule
  • Experience managing contractors, architects, engineers, and suppliers
  • Confident in budget control, forecasting, and financial oversight
  • Able to protect design intent on site with a strong eye for detail, including confidently reading and marking up drawings to ensure coordinated, high-quality output
  • Comfortable travelling regularly across the UK for site visits

Benefits & Perks

  • Equity package
  • Private health and dental insurance
  • 25 days of annual leave (on top of bank holidays), along with an additional paid day a year ‘to start something extraordinary’ ✨ and pursue a passion
  • A salary sacrifice scheme to spend on Cycle to Work, bike subscriptions, pensions and medical
  • Access to 1Rebel off-peak classes at the sites near our office, for free!
  • Exclusive access to our coveted Regulars program – yes, that means free coffee, matcha and more! ☕️✨
  • Great culture with regular team events
