The Role

The Behaviour Manager will work closely with senior leaders, Heads of Year, teachers, pupils and families.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring behaviour across the school.

• Supporting the implementation of behaviour policies.

• Maintaining accurate behaviour records.

• Providing guidance to staff regarding behaviour procedures.

• Supporting pupils to understand expectations and consequences.

• Contributing to behaviour reviews.

• Preparing behaviour information for senior leaders.

• Supporting a consistent approach across the school.

Behaviour Intervention

The successful candidate will work with pupils who may require additional intervention.

This could include one-to-one meetings, behaviour plans, restorative conversations and regular monitoring.

The aim will be to help pupils understand the impact of their behaviour and develop strategies that enable them to engage positively with school.

The Behaviour Manager will need to balance clear expectations with a supportive approach.

Working With Staff

Consistency across the school will be important.

The Behaviour Manager will work with teachers and pastoral colleagues to ensure that behaviour procedures are understood and implemented appropriately.

This may involve:

• Providing advice to staff.

• Supporting behaviour-related meetings.

• Reviewing incidents.

• Identifying patterns.
