Senior Sales Executive - Financial Institutions (Japanese Speaker)

The Team:

Our Japan sales team combines global resources with deep local expertise, working closely with Japan's leading financial institutions to deliver innovative data-driven solutions. You'll join a team of professionals who understand the unique dynamics of the Japanese market and are committed to supporting your growth.

Responsibilities and Impact:
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying, prospecting, and closing new business opportunities with Japan's commercial banks, insurance companies, and asset management firms.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring trust and sustained client satisfaction.
  • Conduct tailored product demonstrations and presentations, addressing specific challenges faced by Japanese financial institutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including product specialists and client support, to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing support for Japanese clients.
  • Develop in-depth understanding of the Japanese competitive landscape, regulatory changes, and client needs.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets while maintaining the highest standards of service and client relationship quality.
Basic Required Qualifications:
  • 3-10 years of sales experience, preferably in financial services or technology solutions
  • Native-level Japanese (written and spoken) and business-level English communication skills
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and revenue targets
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills, with ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders
  • Familiarity with Japanese business etiquette and a consultative, relationship-focused sales approach
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience selling financial data, analytics, or technology solutions to institutional clients
  • Established network within financial services industry (banks, asset managers, securities firms)
  • Knowledge of capital markets, investment processes, and relevant regulatory environment
