Operations Manager / EA to Start-Up

Our client is a fast-growing entrepreneurial business with interests across property, leisure, hospitality and healthcare. They are seeking a proactive and highly organised Operations Manager/EA to work directly with the Founder and support the growth of multiple business ventures.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Operations Manager/EA who enjoys variety, responsibility and working in a fast-paced environment. Acting as the Founder’s right hand, the Operations Manager/EA will oversee projects, improve operational processes, coordinate advisers and contractors, manage reporting and ensure key business priorities remain on track.

Key Duties of the Operations Manager/Executive Assistant

• Managing multiple projects and business initiatives simultaneously
• Coordinating contractors, consultants and external advisers
• Maintaining project plans, budgets and milestone trackers
• Preparing management reports, presentations and board packs
• Improving internal systems, processes and ways of working
• Monitoring key actions and ensuring deadlines are met
• Supporting budgeting, cashflow tracking and financial reporting
• Organising meetings and driving follow-up actions
• Conducting research into suppliers, partners and commercial opportunities
• Providing day-to-day support to the Founder and helping manage priorities

The Ideal Operations Manager/Executive Assistant Will Have

• Previous experience in an Operations Manager, Business Operations or Executive Assistant role
• Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
• Small/family business experience
• Start-up experience
• Experience working in property or finance
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage multiple priorities

Additional Details

• £45,000–£55,000 salary plus bonus
