Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the Year 6 curriculum.
- Prepare pupils for SATs, ensuring they feel confident and well-supported.
- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to drive achievement.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports all abilities.
- Work closely with colleagues to deliver a consistent and high-quality learning experience.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support pupil progress and well-being.
- Participate in staff meetings, CPD opportunities, and school events.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Year 6 and a strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Knowledge of SATs preparation and effective assessment strategies.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A passion for education and helping pupils reach their full potential.
- A team player who enjoys working in a collaborative and supportive school environment.
