Accounts Payable Clerk (Temporary Assignment)Location: Romford

Job Type: Temporary ContractYour New CompanyA well‑established organisation within the construction sector is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to support their finance team during a busy period. This is a temporary role based near Romford, offering an immediate start for the right candidate.Your New RoleYou will be responsible for:
- Processing high volumes of supplier invoices
- Matching, batching and coding invoices
- Resolving supplier queries in a timely manner
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Supporting month‑end processes
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure accurate financial records
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
- Good communication skills and confidence in dealing with suppliers
- Competitive temporary salary up to £28,000 per annum (pro‑rata)
