Private Equity Intern

This role has a flexible length and start date. We are seeking candidates for a 3-12 month internship/placement.

This role is intended for students in their penultimate year of either under- or post-graduate study.

This role is paid.

Intriva is an investment firm focused on value creation in mid-market businesses throughout Western Europe. We proactively partner with management teams on strategic repositioning, operational improvements, and accretive buy/build strategies. As a smaller firm, Intriva offers interns meaningful exposure to all aspects of the private equity investment process and the chance to work closely with experienced professionals.

This internship provides hands-on experience in deal sourcing, analysis, execution, and portfolio monitoring. It suits individuals with a strong analytical mindset, genuine interest in business and finance, and the technical ability to contribute from day one.

Responsibilities

As a Private Equity Intern at Intriva Capital, your responsibilities may include:

• Support deal sourcing through market research and evaluation of potential opportunities.
• Contribute to due diligence, including coordinating information requests and analysing findings.
• Prepare presentations and memos to communicate key insights and recommendations.
• Support the monitoring and modelling of portfolio companies, including strategic and financial analysis.
• Assist with project management and administrative tasks where required.

Requirements

We are seeking highly talented and driven individuals who demonstrate the following qualities:

Skills

• Advanced Excel modeling proficiency (will be tested).
• Strong analytical and numerical ability with excellent attention to detail.
• Outstanding academic track record from a leading university (Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Accounting, or another numerate discipline preferred).
• Fluency in English.

• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Takes pride in their output and checks their own work as a matter of course
• Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills
