Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging and inclusive English lessons to students according to the curriculum standards.
- Assess and evaluate student progress regularly, providing timely feedback and support to help students improve.
- Create a positive and stimulating learning environment that promotes student participation and engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement various educational activities and events.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant information.
- Identify and address individual learning needs, providing additional support and resources when necessary.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed about student progress and discuss any concerns.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in English or a related field.
- Qualified teacher status or equivalent certification.
- Previous experience teaching English to primary/secondary students.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the English curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Passion for teaching and commitment to student success.
- Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Paid to scale on MPS/UPS
