Assistant

Oceanus is looking for a full-time Assistant to join the team in London.

The Assistant position is a fast-paced role working closely with the Founder and team to support the day-to-day running of the brand

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role requiring exceptional organisation, strong communication skills, and a passion for luxury fashion.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and wants exposure to all aspects of building an international luxury fashion brand.

Responsibilities of the Assistant

Founder Support:

• Manage the Founder's daily schedule, meetings, and priorities.
• Coordinate travel, accommodation, and itineraries.
• Prepare agendas, presentations, and meeting notes.
• Track follow-up actions and ensure deadlines are met.
• Handle confidential information with discretion.
• Screen emails and assist with correspondence.

Product Development:

• Coordinate samples with factories and suppliers.
• Organise fittings and maintain sample libraries.
• Track development timelines and critical paths.
• Prepare product information sheets and specifications.
• Assist with quality control reviews.

Production & Supply Chain:

• Liaise with manufacturers regarding production updates.
• Monitor production schedules and deliveries.
• Coordinate shipping and logistics where required.
• Help resolve production issues quickly.

Brand & Creative Support:

• Assist in planning campaign shoots.
• Coordinate stylists, photographers, models, and freelancers.
• Organise mood boards, inspiration, and creative references.
• Help prepare collections for presentations and wholesale appointments.
• Maintain organised digital asset libraries.

Operations:

• Support day-to-day administration.
• Manage sample movements and inventory.
• Coordinate courier shipments.
• Maintain project trackers and internal documents.
• Support wholesale and retail operations when needed.

Marketing & E-commerce Support:

• Assist with product launches.
• Coordinate product uploads and content preparation.
• Support photoshoot preparation.

Events:

• Assist with fashion week preparations.
• Coordinate trade shows and pop-up events.
• Support VIP events and brand activations.
• Organise gifting and guest lists.
