As a Golf Events Coordinator, you’ll be front and centre in delivering some of the most exciting golf events on the calendar. From player hospitality and pro-ams to logistics, supplier coordination, and on-site operations, no two days will be the same. You’ll work closely with internal teams, partners, and stakeholders to bring tournaments to life — solving problems in real time and creating exceptional experiences for players, clients, and fans. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Provide timely and efficient operational assistance on various events and projects, including, but not limited to, event staging, client hospitality, accommodation, transportation, pro-am delivery, and stakeholder coordination
Draft briefing documents and provide timely reporting and minute taking, following up internally and externally as required
Working with suppliers and contractors to draw up specs and scopes of work
Working with local authorities and consulting with respective stakeholders (emergency services, public transport) on traffic management plans, council applications, public notices and conclusion of fees where required
Initiating and processing of supplier contracts and invoices
Collating required health and safety documentation prior to the events
Act as a presentable and professional IMG representative at all times
Provide onsite event operational logistic support
Provide onsite event operational logistic support at golf tournaments, focusing on the customer and client experience
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to understand event requirements
Conduct supplier procurement and work with internal and external stakeholders to make procurement decisions
Coordinate with health and safety consultants to ensure suppliers and the event follows normal and safe working practices. This includes, but is not limited to, collating required health and safety documentation from suppliers (i.e. RAMS, drawings and calculations etc.), implementing site inductions, and enforcing use of PPE etc.
Provide general event support and practical support for the day-to-day business
Conducting market research and data gathering as and when necessary
Provide support for the event Media Days, community engagement and any other PR related activities
Conduct post-event evaluations, including but not limited to, analyses of what worked well and what can be improved in the future, review of existing procurement contracts, and assessment of operational areas that would benefit from new procurement
Any other duties that are within scope of the role as required
Skills and Abilities
Ability to respect confidentiality of relevant information and documentation

Ability to multitask, be proactive and show initiative in a fast-paced environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills in a clear and concise manner
Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Ability to build long lasting working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to self-direct and motivate, working at times with minimal supervision
A strong team player that is flexible dependent on business demand
Excellent time management skills, ability to work calmly under pressure whilst meeting deadlines
Customer focused approach with a presentable appearance
Flexible and willing and able to work nonstandard work hours, and weekends as required
Educated to degree level or equivalent is preferred
UK Driving License
First Aid Trained desirable
IOSH certification desirable
Knowledge and Experience
Experienced user in MS Office Software
An understanding of the Golf Industry is preferred but not essential
Experience of working in the events environment
Demonstrable time management and prioritisation skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Demonstrate attention to detail and output focus
Working Conditions
This is a fixed-term position
Working hours are 9:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday
This role will be based at Chiswick Park, with some flexibility on remote working as appropriate
Regular weekend and evening work where you will be required to travel to events in line with the Golf portfolio, including but not limited to AIG Women’s Open, Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, International Series events, amongst many more . You may be required to work across the EMEA region at certain times throughout the year, with up to 4 weeks away at any one time
Unsocial hours may be required, line with the nature of golf events, including early tee times and evening functions
Outside of event travel there may be a requirement to attend (and travel to) locations, including other IMG buildings and meetings
Adapting to use of new systems and technology where appropriate
