We're looking for a Senior Specialist Clinical Oncology Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy Team at the London Bridge Hospital, currently rated "Outstanding" by the CQC.

London Bridge Hospital is one of the UK's largest private healthcare hospitals specialising in complex and acute care. Spread over three main buildings and five outpatient centres, it is home to a number of specialist units and teams across a wide range of disciplines including orthopaedic, spinal, digestive diseases, liver, hepatobiliary, renal, cardiothoracic, critical care, cancer and transplant services.

The successful post holder will participate in the delivery, management and development of a high quality, proactive, cost effective, safe and responsive patient-centric systemic anti-cancer (SACT) pharmacy service at London Bridge Hospital: Private Care at Guys. You will work also have the opportunity to work closely with (& at times deputise for) the Lead Pharmacist for Oncology and Haematology and other members of our multi-disciplinary teams to ensure that our patients are able to safely access the very latest treatments in oncology.

What you'll bring:
  • MPharm or equivalent (essential)
  • Registered with General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Post graduate diploma/masters in clinical pharmacy or equivalent (essential)
  • Experience in delivering a clinical pharmacy service to wards (essential, post-registration)
  • Previous experience of working in Oncology (essential - post-registration minimum 3 years)
  • Practical experience in an Aseptic Production Unit & GMP ( essential )
  • Previous experience of managing staff (desirable)
  • Independent Prescriber qualification or prepared to/undertaking this qualification (desirable)
  • Experience of delivering education & training to undergraduate & post graduate pharmacy and multidisciplinary staff (desirable )
  • Mosaiq, BD Cato, Meditech knowledge (desirable)
