About the role:

The Pharmacy team at Pulse is looking seeking a dedicated and reliable Band 3 Oncology Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in London. This role involves participating in the delivery of a responsive and appropriate pharmacy aseptic cytotoxic reconstitution service, adhering to quality systems and standards maintained in accordance with GMP principles.

Duties and Responsibilities:

You will work effectively with the Pharmacy Oncology Team in delivering ward-based oncology and SACT services. You will operate within the Ascribe system to enable worksheets for production. You will assist in identifying and implementing service improvements. You will ensure compliance with quality systems and standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Essential:
  • Holds the NVQ Level 2 in pharmaceutical services or equivalent.
  • Hospital Pharmacy experience is essential.
• Desirable:
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
