International Business Development Manager - London

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of International Business Development Manager. This is an exciting role which allows you to actively contribute to directly to one of HSBC’s key objectives of growing the international side of the Bank.
You will drive the day-to-day activities and delivery of the Premier & International proposition, through effectively building strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and key stakeholders, both internal and external, that support our strategic priorities and customer growth ambitions.

In this role you will:
- Identify and build long term B2B relationships with ‘key’ contacts within the communities in which you look after, building a strong network both externally and internally.
- Be fully conversant with the international proposition both in the UK and Globally
- Seek opportunities to create acquisition partnerships with centres of influence e.g., visa agencies, relocation companies, expat associations.
- To lead and/or present at events organised by the International Desk team.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- An entrepreneurial mindset and motivation to build a business from the ground up is essential.
- You must have experience of networking and business development in a Business Banking environment, Insurance, Brokerage, Recruitment or similar. Alternatively experience of working for a blue chip organisation within their Global Mobilisation
- Strong natural ability to maintain relationships
- Experience and knowledge of the unique needs and challenges of international customers
- Willingness to travel (within area of responsibility) and attend events outside of business hours
This role is hybrid, to be based in London. Spending upto 3 days a week with clients.
