Salary £38.000 + Service charge, £600 + per month

Job Description
- Assist the Head Chef in the kitchen operation of our 7 day per week A la Carte restaurant in a concert hall in the West end and ensure the company’s reputation for food quality is maintained at all times. (You will work 5 out of 7)
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items as directed by the Head Chef
- Contribute to the development and planning of menus, including future food trends and be passionate about developing new styles of service and concepts in the location.
- Support the Head Chef with stock taking and admin as required.
- Carry out the smooth and efficient running of your section as appropriate.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in as a Sous Chef or similar role
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Works according to the BaxterStorey core values
