Aviation Programme Lead – Major Airport

Location: North London (3–4 days per week on-site)
Salary: Up to £100,000 + comprehensive package
Contract: Permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Aviation Programme Lead to take the helm of a major programme of works valued at over £150 million, forming part of a wider, multi-million-pound transformation initiative at one of the UK’s busiest airports.

This is a pivotal leadership role within a highly respected consultancy renowned for delivering complex, high-profile infrastructure programmes across the UK. You will be responsible for driving programme success from inception through to delivery, ensuring alignment with broader strategic objectives and maintaining strong relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee the successful delivery of a £150m+ aviation infrastructure programme.

Manage a multi-disciplinary team to ensure programme milestones are achieved on time and within budget.

Work closely with client and contractor teams to maintain alignment and ensure effective communication across all stakeholders.

Implement robust governance, reporting, and risk management processes.

Support the integration of the programme into the wider airport development masterplan.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience in programme management delivering large-scale infrastructure or aviation projects.

Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.

Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to manage complex budgets.

Background in consultancy, client-side, or major project delivery environments.

A degree and/or professional qualification (APM, MSP, MRICS, or equivalent) preferred.
