IT Support Technician
About the Role
The IT Support Technician plays a critical role in keeping Tecknuovo’s technology running smoothly day to day. You will provide first and second line technical support to internal staff, ensuring our people can work efficiently, securely and without disruption.
This is a hands-on, people-facing role, responsible for supporting Apple devices, managing user accounts for new starters, maintaining audio-visual equipment across meeting spaces, and supporting the ongoing development of our mobile device management environment. You will also work closely with our IT Manager and external IT managed service provider to maintain strong operational standards.
This role is ideal for someone early in their IT career who is confident supporting end users, enjoys solving problems, and thrives in a fast-paced, office-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deploy, manage and troubleshoot Apple devices including MacBooks and iPhones.
Prepare and configure user accounts for new starters, ensuring a seamless onboarding IT experience.
Provide first and second line hardware and software support to all internal staff.
Manage, maintain and troubleshoot all audio-visual equipment in office meeting and collaboration spaces.
Assist with the deployment and ongoing maintenance of Intune mobile device management policies.
Support the IT Manager with administrative tasks including ISO documentation, IT inventory management and information security processes.
Liaise with, and maintain a strong working relationship with, the external IT managed service provider.
Ensure IT issues are logged, tracked and resolved in a timely and professional manner.
Support continuous improvement of IT processes, systems and user experience.
Who You Are and How You’ll Make an Impact
You are a proactive, service-oriented IT professional with a solid foundation in Microsoft 365 and end-user support. You are confident supporting colleagues at all levels, including key stakeholders, and take pride in resolving issues quickly and calmly.
You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, able to prioritise tasks effectively and switch between technical problem solving and user support with ease. You’re curious, keen to learn, and motivated to build your technical capability across device management, security and systems administration.
Your impact will be felt through reduced downtime, smoother onboarding for new starters, and a consistently reliable IT experience that enables the business to operate at pace.
A Day in the Life
Reporting to the IT Manager, you’ll spend your day responding to user requests, managing devices, and ensuring the office technology environment runs smoothly.
A typical day might include:
Setting up laptops and accounts for new starters joining the business.
Troubleshooting Microsoft 365 access or device issues for team members.
Fixing audio or display issues in a meeting room ahead of a client session.
Deploying or updating Intune policies across company devices.
Updating the IT asset register and supporting ISO documentation.
Liaising with the external IT provider on escalated issues.
Walking the floor to proactively check for IT issues and support users in real time.
This is a varied, hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in keeping the business productive, secure and technologically enabled.
