Salary: £22 – £25 gross per hour depending on experience
Hours Required: Approximately 20 core hours per week across 3 days (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday preferred). Some flexibility with days and additional hours may be available, potentially increasing the role to around 30 hours per week.
Start Date: ASAP
Driver: Prefer driver but not essential
Overview
A busy professional mother based in Chiswick is seeking a proactive and organised Housekeeper / Family Assistant to take ownership of household organisation and help ensure the home runs smoothly, while providing light support with afternoon routines for her teenage twin sons.
The role is primarily focused on housekeeping, household organisation and family administration. The boys are relatively independent but benefit from structure and support with organisation and routines.
This position would suit a confident and self-directed candidate who enjoys managing household logistics and working independently within a busy family home.
Key Responsibilities
• Laundry, washing and ironing
• Bed making and general household organisation
• Managing clothing and wardrobes
• Maintaining an orderly and well-run home
• Grocery shopping and household errands
• Unpacking shopping and managing household supplies
• Occasional simple meal preparation
• Supporting after-school routines for the boys
• School pick-ups and occasional club drop-offs
• Assisting with family administration and household scheduling
• Managing calendars, appointments and household logistics where required
• Walking the family dog when needed

Requirements
• Previous experience working in a private household role such as Housekeeper, Family Assistant or similar
• Highly organised with strong initiative
• Comfortable working independently and managing workload
• Warm and confident around older children and teenagers
• Reliable, trustworthy and discreet
• Good standard of spoken English
• Right to work in the UK
• Driving licence preferred but not essential
