School Receptionist - Immediate Start - Exceptional...
Our Client is seeking a friendly, organised and professional School Receptionist to join a successful administrative team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for pupils, parents, staff and visitors and will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school office.
This is a highly visible role that requires excellent communication skills, a calm and welcoming manner, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy school environment.
Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for all visitors, parents and pupils, providing a warm and professional welcome
Answer telephone calls, respond to enquiries, take messages and direct queries appropriately
Manage pupil sign-in/sign-out procedures and maintain accurate records
Support attendance administration, including late arrivals and absences
Maintain the school’s visitor and safeguarding procedures, including ID checks and visitor badges
Provide general administrative support, including filing, photocopying, emailing and data entry
Assist with maintaining pupil records using the school management system
Support the administration of first aid and welfare needs where required
Liaise with staff, parents and external agencies in a professional and confidential manner
Ensure confidentiality and data protection standards are upheld at all times
