Metallurgy Superintendent - Projects
The Opportunity:
A newly created site-based opportunity for an experienced Metallurgy Superintendent to join a high-performing international mining group with strong growth and development prospects. This role offers the chance to contribute to major project study work and life-of-mine strategy across multiple base and precious metal operations.
Working as part of the site-based Technical Services team, you will lead metallurgical modelling, oversee test work programs, and support plant design and recovery optimisation projects. This is a dynamic and hands-on opportunity for someone passionate about metallurgical excellence, innovation, and operational strategy.

Salary: $150k - $200k USD + Benefits Package
Key Focus:
- Lead the development and maintenance of metallurgical recovery, throughput and cost models.
- Manage internal and external metallurgical test programs.
- Provide technical input to plant design reviews, flowsheets, and process optimisation.
- Ensure compliance with internal geometallurgy standards and study frameworks.
- Evaluate emerging processing technologies to support project advancement.
- Generate detailed technical reports for decision-making and study documentation.
Core Competencies:
- Tertiary qualifications in Metallurgy or related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in processing operations (base or precious metals).
- Strong skills in metallurgical modelling, test design and technical analysis.
- Proven track record of managing multidisciplinary project study work.
- Exceptional reporting and data interpretation skills.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with technical and operational stakeholders.
- Field-based experience in operational and project environments.
